Wish all of us were together, but in fairness to all the rest of you, it was the parents who were too cheep for that to happen. It sounds like the family has all had an enjoyable time, even Cliff, though it will take him a while to realize how deliriously happy he was on his first Christmas.

Mom and Dad,
You two are the last two people we would accuse as being "too cheap" for anything. You know as well as we do that it was simply our time to be with the Varneys and that's why we're not in Hawaii. Honestly, some parents...
BTW, thanks for the not-so-cheap Christmas present. You guys do a lot for us and we appreciate it.
