Below are some of the pictures taken after that previous blog was posted. There are also a couple that were taken previous to the post, but I couldn't think of a way to fit them in. I want them on the blog, so in the "Tie up loose ends" blog, making sense and flowing well don't matter. As long as the last picture makes some sort of logic, I'm satisfied. It will be the knot at the end of the, well, ends.
Driving to coast road on the last weekend of the year.
This is not a geyser, but a blowhole that shots 40-60 feet with each good wave.
The mountains, once the rim of a volcano, are spectacular. The fact that they become green in this climate is just gravy. Sort of like a mossy-looking greenish gravy. Over everything...you know...gravy.

This guy doesn't, but he's not a real guy, just a shape in the oil from the USS Arizona that was neat because it sort of looked like a guy. It's all sore of eerily neat, because, you know, the Arizona is like the tomb of hundreds of sailors and is leaking [slowly] this oil that was in it's tanks when it sank, so...I thought it was kind of cool.
This was unarguably cool. All the more so because the ledge where the water is splashing is 3 or 4 stories tall.
The old year is setting...

Gorgeous pictures, Dad! You've made Hawaii look even prettier in photos than it does in real life, and that's saying something. It definitely brings back a lot of fond memories of having you guys here.
