Let it Spring, let it Spring, let it Spring!

This is the view of cherry blossoms from Grandma Rowley's driveway.
These photos were taken May 10.
The photos would have been more spectacular if it had been sunny.
 It has been so cold, rainy, overcast, snowy in the mountains, and otherwise
not typical Spring, that on the first sunny warm stretch of two days
in a row, that they all blossomed at once.

Today (May 31) the mountains have even more snow than is shown here.
In fact it snowed yesterday.

It was a lovely sight.

The above photos were taken two days after Mother's Day.
These are the flowers we gave my mom.
What a beautiful Mom!!
