Discovering a "Nest"

During my fall clean up efforts, I trimmed some bushes and
came upon this beautiful nest ……. of golf balls.

This bush was more than twice the size it is now and still full of leaves so the discovery was kind of fun.
Violet loves to play with Bitner throwing him a golf ball.
When she visits we always find some more balls in the house and we hide them.
But there would always be more.  Up until this find we wondered,
"Where does she keep finding so many here?"
The answer: She brings them from Midway and carefully puts them in her 'stash'.
Pretty clever and cute.
